#100 - I’ve made it to the end of my 100 days of bob’s farm 100 day project ... I’m not going to lie, some days I really didn’t feel like doing an illustration, but I’m glad I stuck with it. 2019 has been a big and sometimes tough year for me so far, dealing with the fallout of losing Mum and finding new work, I’ve spent a whole lot of time at the farm and I’m honoured to now be one of the custodians of this beautiful place. So much so, I’ve made the big decision to move here permanently. So welcome to my new home everyone. I hope you’ve enjoyed the journey.

Day 99
#99 - only one day to go of my 100 day project (#whoopwhoop) today it’s two white feathers one each for my Dad and Mum. They bought the farm in the 1970s and since then it has grown potatoes, wheat, barley, linseed and oil seed rape. The farm house was renovated by my Dad and later my Mum ran it as a bed and breakfast. I’m very proud of them and I love our farm.

#98 of 100 day project ... yay only 2 to go ! I love the structure of this hedgerow plant that I can’t remember the name of! What is it again?

Day 97
Day #97 it’s the final countdown of my #100dayproject ... hardly spotted the hare on the farm this year, occasionally I’ll see his ears above the grass and then he’s up and running off. (Also spotted him on my nature night cam) - just hope they come back in better numbers next year and it’s nothing to do with illegal hare coursing. Hares are very special me.
Day 96
#96 - nearly reached the final countdown! 100 day project nearly over and it’s forget-me-not flowers I hope you forget-me-not after this!
Friday, 5 July 2019

Day 88
#88 and I love these little fungi - mushroom parasols - they’re so delicate and you can see light through the gills before they start to curl up.
Day 85
#85 of my 100 day project and it’s a little weasel ... we mainly see stoats but occasionally you spot the smaller weasel, usually darting from one hedge to another.
Day 82
#82 -acorn. We have quite a few oak trees on the farm. The squirrels love them! We have a seedling growing by the front door in a plant pot after a squirrel decided to bury one in there!

Day 78
#78 of my 100 day project and it’s the swallows .. a bit late this year, but usually they turn up as summer is arriving and you know summer is over, when they all line up on the telephone wire, before heading off.
Sunday, 16 June 2019
Day 77
Day #77 of my 100 day project ... not sure what the real name is, but we call this plant sticky willies as they lots of barbs on and stick to your clothes (they also have lots of little balls .. need I say more). Hours of fun when we were small!

Day 66
#66 and back to the elements not the scene ... you probably won’t see that until the end now. Here’s a bit of ivy to climb up the tree ... it’s good at Christmas for decorating!
Wednesday, 5 June 2019
Day 65
#65 of my 100 day project and I’ve added a tree stump (and a picture of the real thing) - when we lose a tree here, we usually make a feature of the stump rather than uproot it - this one has daffodils in a circle round it and looks great in spring and the mini beasts love it too.
Tuesday, 4 June 2019
Day 64
#64 and thought I’d add the cherry tree seeing it’s so popular with the wildlife here... had to make it leafless so it’ll show any inhabitants later! (follow me on Instagram and see the night cam shots of the deer, muntjac, foxes, badger and others enjoying the cherries @katybobsyouraunty

Day 63
Day 63 and a bit more habitat for my 100 day project - not very interesting images but the critters need somewhere to live !
Sunday, 2 June 2019
Day 62
#62 and I’ll still be setting the scenery for the next few days for my 100 day project (where I’m drawing nature on our farm for 100 days.) Today is a mossy log and a good habitat for the mini beasts.
Saturday, 1 June 2019
Day 61
#61 and decided to widen the scene so I can fit more in for my 100 day project - so today I’ve added some grass and a field of wheat.
Friday, 31 May 2019
Day 60
#60 and I think it’s time to start setting the scene.... so I’ve combined the 2 tree scapes and today it’s blue skies and clouds for my 100 day project.
Wednesday, 29 May 2019
Day 59
Good morning and it’s day #59 of my 100 day project - a little red soldier beetle - well that’s at least what I thought I saw, before it disappeared in the buttercups.... I think I need to think about setting the scene for the final piece soon!
Day 58
#58 of my 100 day project and I love a fern! We have a little wooded area at the bottom of the field where they grow.
Monday, 27 May 2019
Sunday, 26 May 2019

Day 54
Today it’s a muntjac or barking deer - I’ve only ever seen them alone, they’re a lot smaller than the other deer and I hear it more often than I see it on the farm, though on was spotted sunbathing in the oilseed rape field yesterday.
Friday, 24 May 2019
Wednesday, 22 May 2019
